Abstract (english)
The presentation explores using VR to teach Croatian language and culture to descendants abroad. It highlights VR's benefits, enhancing engagement, accessibility to cultural content, and preparation for life in Croatia. The IntegrateME Citi Verse project supports integration through XR applications. Pilot testing showed high engagement, though improvements like user guides and better connectivity are needed. VR’s immersive experience helps Croatian descendants connect with their heritage, fostering better language and social integration.
